Modules

Choose which parts of Karmaflow.ai your workspace uses — switch a product area off to keep it out of menus, search and the dashboard.

Modules

Karmaflow.ai covers a lot of ground: voice, SMS and chat agents, campaigns, a sales pipeline, a helpdesk, web analytics and more. Most teams use some of these and never touch the rest. Modules let you switch off the parts your workspace does not use. They disappear from menus, search, the dashboard and Settings, so everyone sees a product shaped around the work you actually do.

Switching a module off never deletes anything. Switch it back on and every agent, record and setting is exactly where you left it.

What you'll need

The modules

Every workspace always includes the core CRM (contacts, leads, companies, lists, views and forms), email sending and receiving, tasks and My Day, and the engine that runs workflows. These can't be switched off. The optional modules are grouped the same way as on the page:

Group Module What it covers
Agents & channels Voice Voice agents that answer and place phone calls, call history, the outbound dialer and calling from CRM records.
SMS SMS agents, text conversations, the Sent SMS report and texting from CRM records.
Website chat Chat agents and the website widget, chat and escalation explorations, and the live operator panel.
Mail agents AI-written outbound email programs and the Mail Campaign quick-start wizard. Sending and receiving email stays on either way.
Task agents Background AI agents that do internal work, and the task-agent step in workflows.
Documents & e-signature Document agents that draft contracts, proposals and quotes, the document library, and e-signature.
Duty schedule On-call rotations that voice and chat agents use to reach whoever is on duty. Needs Voice or Website chat.
Workflows Workflows & automations The workflow builder, CRM automations and agent reactions, and custom webhooks.
Campaigns One-off and autonomous email or SMS campaigns to a list, with their questions and handoffs.
Group inboxes Shared inbound email addresses with threads, replies and attachment intelligence.
Sales Sales pipeline Deals, pipelines, the forecast, CRM dashboards and the account graph.
Meeting recordings Imported meeting audio and transcripts, with the insights extracted from them.
Service Helpdesk Support tickets, the knowledge base, SLAs, the customer portal and AI ticket handling.
Knowledge & quality Tenant Brain Your business knowledge base that agents read from and propose to, with scheduled scans.
Quality & training Quality events, agent feedback and Train the AI. Needs at least one agent module.
Data & marketing Web analytics Website tracking, the tag manager and page analytics.
Google Ads & Local Services Ad spend through to booked work, and AI replies to Google Local Services message leads.
Data Analyst Questions about your conversation and inbox data, answered from a graph database, with scheduled analytics reports.

What switching a module off does

By default, switching a module off hides it:

Karmaflow.ai can also set a workspace so that switching a module off locks it instead: its pages and API stop, its background work is skipped and its live agents stop. The note at the top of the Modules page tells you which applies to your workspace. Either way, nothing is deleted.

Switch a module off or on

Settings (the gear icon) → Workspace → Modules (/settings/modules (sign-in required))

  1. Select the gear icon in the top bar to open Settings. In the Workspace group, select Modules.
  2. Read the note at the top. It says what switching a module off does in your workspace.
  3. Find the module. Rows are grouped by the headings in the table above, and each row shows the module's state: On, Hidden or Locked.
  4. Turn the module's switch off.
  5. If the module has live work, such as agents answering calls or campaigns still sending, a panel lists what it affects, each item linked to where you can act on it. Review the list, then select Confirm, or Cancel to leave the module as it is.
  6. The row's state changes and a line under it confirms the change, such as Voice is now hidden. Your menus update straight away, and other admins get a notification that names you and the module.

To bring a module back, turn its switch on. The line under the row reads, for example, Voice is back on.

Modules that depend on another

Duty schedule needs Voice or Website chat, and Quality & training needs at least one agent module. If you switch off the last module a dependent one relies on, the dependent one goes off with it, and the confirmation line says so (Also hidden: Duty schedule.). A dependent module switched on while what it needs is off shows Needs another module, and stays off until one of those is on.

What your team sees

New workspaces choose at sign-up

When you create a new organization, the sign-up form has a Modules list. Nothing is ticked at first: tick the parts you plan to use. Karmaflow.ai reviews each new organization before it opens, and can adjust the list during that review. If you sign up with Google or Microsoft, you pick your modules on the next step. Whatever you choose, you can change it later on the Modules page.
