Search

KarmaFlow includes a semantic search system that helps you find relevant information across conversations and communication records quickly.

Global Search (Cmd+K)

Press Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) from anywhere in the app to open the global search interface. As you type, KarmaFlow returns relevant results across:

• Call transcripts
• Chat sessions
• Sent emails
• SMS messages
• Contacts

Results are ranked by relevance using semantic search, which means your query is evaluated by meaning rather than exact keyword matching alone.

Search Page

For more advanced searching, use the dedicated Search page:

1. Click the search icon in the navigation or go to /search
2. Enter your query
3. Use filters to narrow results:
   • Source Type — Filter by calls, chats, emails, or SMS
   • Date Range — Limit to a specific time period
   • Result Limit — Control how many results to show

How Search Works

KarmaFlow uses vector-based semantic search powered by embeddings:

1. All conversations and communications are automatically indexed
2. Your search query is converted to a semantic embedding
3. Results are matched by meaning similarity, not just keyword matching
4. This means a query like "customer complaint about shipping" can return records about delivery issues or late packages even if those exact words do not appear in the source content

Search Results

Each result shows:

• Source Type — Icon indicating call, chat, email, or SMS
• Preview — Relevant excerpt from the content
• Date — When the conversation occurred
• Link — Click to open the full record
