# Email Strategies

Email Strategies, also referred to as Mail Agents, let you create AI-assisted outbound email campaigns. Each strategy combines messaging instructions, targeting inputs, and delivery settings to support personalized outreach.

## Key Concepts

- **Strategy** — An email campaign configuration with instructions, templates, and target lists
- **Send** — The act of dispatching emails to a list of contacts
- **Email Sending** — Verified sending domains used to deliver outbound mail (requires configuration)

## Getting Started

1. Configure your email settings (see [Email Sending](/help/integrations/mailgun))
2. Create a **List** with target contacts (see [Lists](/help/crm/lists))
3. Navigate to **Agents > Email Strategies**
4. Click **+ Create Strategy**

## Strategy List

The Email Strategies page gives you an overview of all configured outbound programs in your workspace. For each strategy, you can review:

- **Name**
- **Status** — Draft, active, or completed
- **Send Count** — Number of emails sent
- Quick actions: view, edit, emails report
