Companies
Companies let you group related contacts under a shared organization record. This is especially useful in B2B workflows where multiple people belong to the same business or account.
Viewing Companies
Navigate to CRM > Companies to browse company records. Two view modes are available from the toolbar:
- Cards — paginated table layout.
- Spreadsheet — Attio-style grid with inline edit on name, domain, website, industry, size, phone, email; sortable headers; drag-to-resize columns; multi-select; and a bulk-edit dialog.
The toolbar also exposes a saved-view picker so you can apply a reusable filter + sort + columns preset. See Saved Views.
Creating a Company
- Click + New Company.
- Enter the company name and supporting details (domain, website, industry, size, phone, email, LinkedIn URL, description).
- Click Save. Field-level validation errors appear inline.
You can also create companies from the Suggestions modal, which infers companies from contact records that have a free-text company field but no linked record.
Linking Contacts
You can associate contacts with a company from either side:
- From the company detail page, view the auto-linked contacts.
- From a contact detail page, set or update the Company field — the spreadsheet view supports inline edit.
Company Detail View
The company detail page helps you understand account-level context in one place:
- Company Information — domain, website, industry, size, phone, email, description.
- Activity Summary — contact count, calls, chats, emails + SMS.
- Contacts — first 10 linked contacts with quick links.
- Custom Fields — per-tenant attributes; AI-research fields can auto-populate from web search and your own corpus.
- Tasks — follow-up items linked to the company.
- Find similar — closest companies by semantic similarity over your own customer base (lookalike accounts grounded in your data, not the public web).
- Notes and Activity log — paginated history.
- Change history — admin-only audit trail.
- Presence avatars — when teammates are viewing or editing the same company, their chips appear in the header.
AI Research on Company Fields
Mark any company attribute as an AI-research field in CRM → Setup → Custom Fields to have it auto-populate from the company's own history (notes, calls, emails) plus optional web search. Sources used to fill the value are stored on the record so every enrichment is auditable. No third-party enrichment account is required. Full walkthrough in Enriching Records with AI.
