Automations
Automations let you define rules that trigger actions automatically based on CRM events.
Accessing Automations
Navigate to CRM > Automations to view and manage your automation rules.
How Automations Work
Each automation consists of:
- Trigger — The event that starts the automation, such as a contact being created, a tag being added, or a form being submitted
- Conditions — Optional filters that control when the automation should run
- Actions — The updates or notifications that happen after the trigger fires
Creating an Automation
- Click + New Automation
- Select a trigger event
- Add optional conditions to filter
- Configure the action(s) to perform
- Name the automation and click Save
Common Use Cases
- Tag new form submissions — Add a tag automatically when a form is submitted
- Notify on high-value leads — Send an alert when a qualified or high-scoring lead is created
- Update status on activity — Change a CRM field when a customer responds or engages
Enabling and Disabling
Toggle automations on or off without deleting them. Disabled automations retain their configuration so they can be re-enabled later.
Note: For complex multi-step workflows with branching, time delays, and multi-channel actions, use Orchestrations instead.
